Jenny Rodriguez: Finding Joy in Every Season

Hosted By: momqstg

Are you finding joy in every season? How is your joy level this week? Is it high because you’re enjoying a vacation with family? Is it low because of unwelcome circumstances? Motherhood is a sacrifice and a mission we are called to. If those of us who have the privilege of being mothers can see it as a method of giving glory to God, then that can completely change our perspective. Instead of striving for the perfect picture of what we think can make us happier, we can learn to love what God has for us to do now. And what we must be do right now might be changing diapers, folding laundry, refilling snacks, and wiping up spills. We can do all of this as a way to give God glory. It can be our act of worship. Exercising this “joy muscle” in the little daily tasks allows us to better love what God has called us to do in this particular season. On our latest podcast episode, Jenny Rodriguez. Jenny shares that joy is “a strength or a confidence that rests deep, deep within me in spite of the circumstances that are around me.” Join us on this podcast today so you too can experience finding joy in every season!
