Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect at the in-person gatherings?
We gather as a large group for 15-20 minutes for a light breakfast and coffee. We hear about a 30 minute message that answers a question moms have from a biblical perspective. We then break into small groups led by a mentor mom where we reflect on what we have learned in guided discussion.
Where do I go when I arrive at the church?
Come to the main church entrance. There will be someone to greet you at the door and get you plugged in.
What can I expect for the virtual gatherings?
Each week at your convenience via our MomQ podcast you will listen to a 30 minute teaching message that answers a question moms have from a biblical perspective. Group members will then come together over Zoom to reflect on what you have learned in guided discussion with your experienced mentor mom. The meetings will end by praying for each other and will last about one hour.
Is there homework required?

No, we know how busy you are at this stage of life. We just want you to come and be encouraged each week.

Is what I share in the small groups confidential?

Absolutely! We have a small group agreement that includes a commitment to confidentiality, sensitivity and acceptance.

Can I join anytime during the semester?

Yes, you can! Although our semesters have a theme and the topics are all related to it, each week can also stand alone. If you miss a week, you can catch up on our podcast. All of our lesson notes and questions are on our series page.ย

Once you join our community, consistent attendence will enable you to get the most out of the group. But, we understand life happens and just encourage you to come whenever you can.

What do we believe?

As followers of Jesus Christ, we believe that He is the only son of God who came to earth to conquer sin and death. We believe that those who place their faith and trust in Jesus as their Savior have a right relationship with God and eternal salvation. We believe that the Bible is the literal, authoritative word of God inspired by the Holy Spirit to be used for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.
