Becoming a Confident Mom

Life can be hard and uncertain. We are not only mothers but we’re also individuals who encounter difficult situations daily. From dealing with conflict in relationships, to handling loneliness and isolation, this series will help you find your identity in Christ so you can have joy and peace in life.

Spring 23 Leadership Conference

Strengthened in His Presence

“Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me.”  Psalm 42:7

Join us April 21-23rd in Port Aransas, Texas for our 1st MomQ leadership weekend conference. We will be unpacking the book Lead Like Jesus by Ken Blanchard, Phil Hodges and Phyllis Hendry as well as sharing testimonies of how God has shown His presence to us in powerful ways. Being a Confident Mom

Life can be hard and uncertain. We are not only mothers but we’re also individuals who encounter difficult situations daily. From dealing with conflict in relationships, to handling loneliness and isolation, this series will help you find your identity in Christ so you can have joy and peace in life.

Building a Strong Family

We want to create a safe, nurturing environment where our children feel valued and loved by us and God. But, how? In this series, we address topics like how to set our family priorities, deal with anxiety in our homes and be peacemakers just to name a few.

Raising Virtuous Children

Many parents believe that if their children are well behaved and successful, then they have done their job right. But, God says otherwise. In this series, you will discover the true purpose of parenting and how the Bible says it can be accomplished.

Our Mission & Vision

We are moms in community building healthy, faithful families. Motherhood is hard! Not only do we need each other to keep our sanity but, we also need guidance from mothers who have been there. Our curriculum helps mothers from all stages of life find peace, hope and joy on their journey.

When and where do you meet?

We meet Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:30 am.
Hill Country Bible Church, Steiner Ranch location
4310 N Quinlan Park Rd. Austin, TX 78732
Our semesters run about 12 weeks

Who is MomQ for?

We welcome anyone who is looking to connect with others and gain practical wisdom on parenting from a biblical perspective.

Teaching Our Kids to Trust God Means Letting Them Go

Teaching Our Kids to Trust God Means Letting Them Go

It is said that faith is like a muscle. It grows by stretching. If we want our kids to have great faith, we must allow them to experience times of testing. Instead of hyper-parenting or helicopter parenting, we must teach our children to look to God and trust His plan for their life. In other words, we must “Let go, and let God”. Read this week’s blog to discover other ways you can teach “faith over fear” to your kids.

“Our weekly meetings provide a refuge where our community of moms love each other, serve each other and encourage each other. The wisdom shared weekly from the teaching and the mentor moms equip me to be the mom God wants me to be, while strengthening my own faith. I am forever grateful for this ministry and am excited for the many women that will be blessed through it going forward.”
