As moms, we can quietly believe that if it’s not deep, long, and uninterrupted… it doesn’t matter. But what if what we actually need each day is a peanut butter and jelly sandwich? Simple. Consistent. Nourishing. You can be encouraged by podcasts, sermons, and worship songs (and I love all of those). But encouragement is different from strength. Strength comes from eating the Word of God. Five minutes with an open Bible while your kids eat breakfast. One Psalm before school pickup. A verse you carry in your heart while you fold laundry. It may feel small. But a peanut butter and jelly sandwich goes a long way. 🌿 You don’t need a feast every day.
