Equipping moms to live out their faith with confidence and purpose.

momQ is a Christian mentoring ministry that helps moms grow spiritually, build strong families, and experience authentic, gospel-centered community right where they are.

Why MomQ Exists

Motherhood is deeply formative for children, marriages, and faith. Yet many moms are navigating these years feeling spiritually under-equipped and increasingly alone.

momQ exists to meet moms in that tension with biblical truth, meaningful mentorship, and life-giving community. We believe that when moms are spiritually formed, families are strengthened and faith is passed on to the next generation.

How It Began

momQ began in the spring of 2021, as families emerged from a season marked by isolation, uncertainty, and spiritual fatigue. A small group of moms gathered in a living room in Austin, Texas hungry for more than encouragement and longing for deeper formation.

That pilot group revealed a shared desire: moms didn’t just want information; they wanted wisdom for everyday life. They wanted faith that shaped how they loved their families, navigated marriage, and followed Jesus in ordinary moments.

By that fall, momQ officially launched in a local church. What began as a simple gathering grew into a mentor-led discipleship ministry serving moms across communities—while remaining rooted in its original heart.

From our Founder

Thirty-one years ago, I walked into a Bible study for moms in my Dallas neighborhood. I went because I was curious — and because they had childcare.

I had no idea it would change my life.

That community is where I became a follower of Jesus. Where older women spoke truth into my motherhood. Where I stopped just surviving and started being formed. I didn’t know it had a name then, but what I experienced was Titus 2 discipleship — women pouring into women, in the context of real life.

That’s the gift I wanted to give to other moms. That’s why momQ exists.

Today I serve as Founder and Executive Director, overseeing curriculum, leadership training, and organizational growth. My background in business and education shapes how we build systems that are sustainable for churches and meaningful for families.

But at the heart of it, I’m just a mom who got discipled in a living room — and never got over it.

If you’re a mom looking for a group, we’d love to help you find your place.

If you’re a woman with a heart to mentor, we’d love to talk.

If you’re a church leader thinking about how to disciple women more intentionally, I’d love to connect.

Mission, Vision & Values

Our Mission

We equip moms with biblical wisdom, in community, to grow spiritually and build strong, godly families.

Our Vision

A generation of moms formed in Christ, raising families of faith that pass the gospel to the next generation.

Our Values

  • We lead with love, not judgment.
Creating safe spaces that reflect the grace and compassion of Christ.
  • We practice authenticity.
Sharing both struggles and victories with honesty and humility.
  • We live out God’s Word.
Seeking to be doers of the Word, not hearers only.
  • We remain teachable.
Valuing wisdom, listening well, and growing through godly counsel.
  • We carry one another’s burdens.
Walking together through prayer, encouragement, and support.

Our Beliefs

Rooted in Biblical Truth. Committed to the Local Church.

MomQ is a Christ-centered mentoring ministry that exists to come alongside the local church in discipling and supporting moms.

Our teaching, curriculum, and community are grounded in Scripture and aligned with historic, evangelical Christian doctrine. We believe strong families are formed when moms are spiritually equipped within the framework of biblical truth and church partnership.

For church partners, theological clarity matters. For moms, faith needs to feel livable and grounded. At MomQ, we hold both with care.

What We Hold in Common

At the heart of our ministry, we affirm that:

  • There is one true God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
  • The Bible is God’s inspired, authoritative Word and the foundation for faith and daily living
  • Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone
  • Discipleship happens best in Christ-centered community and mentorship
  • Marriage and family are God’s design and foundational to discipleship
  • Every human life is sacred and created in the image of God

These beliefs shape everything we teach and how we partner with churches.

Partnership Assurance

MomQ partners with churches and ministries that affirm these core beliefs and share a commitment to biblical discipleship and family formation.
