An Honest Conversation About Mental Health

Hosted By: momqstg

You may or may not be aware that many people are struggling with their mental health these days. The U.S. surgeon general Dr. Vivek H. Murthy recently said that lonliness and isolation are the defining public health crisis of our time.  Maybe you are feeling the effects of this yourself. Is your thinking or your mood consistently not where it used to be? We feel a lot of pressure as moms to have it all together. But it’s okay to not always be okay. God can handle it. But He also doesn’t want us to stay that way.

In this special episode of the MomQ Mingle, Candace and Annie explore the possible causes of this crisis, talk about what good mental health looks like and explain what the Bible has to say about it. They also share candidly about their own experiences with postpartum depression and offer practical wisdom for those seasons when we don’t feel “okay.” This is a must-listen episode if you or someone you love has or is currently struggling with mental health and needs encouragement.
