It’s a choice. And it’s a practice.

Becca Stevens, ordained pastor, founder of Thistle Farms, and one of the most quietly powerful women I’ve ever talked to, said that in our conversation. And I haven’t stopped thinking about it.

Becca has walked alongside women coming out of trafficking, addiction, and incarceration for nearly 30 years. She knows what it actually looks like to move from the darkest places into real freedom.

And she says it’s never a single moment. It’s a practice.
