Receiving God’s Mercy When Shame Tells You to Hide

Receiving God’s Mercy When Shame Tells You to Hide

by Lyndsie Lane | Apr 17, 2026 | Spiritual Growth

Many of us live buried in shame, though we may not always be willing to admit it, especially to others. At its core, shame makes us want to disappear while mercy invites us in. This is a tension we were never meant to live in. Let’s talk about why we fall into this...

One fruit of the Spirit. One week. That's it.

No curriculum needed. No perfect devotional time. Just a willing heart and a few minutes a day, pointing your kids to the Holy Spirit at work in your home.

'But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.' Galatians 5:22-23

Motherhood is a high calling. But our culture does Motherhood is a high calling. But our culture doesn't always treat it that way.

The pressure to wear the mask is real. Perfect kids. Perfect marriage. Perfect home. Sonia has felt it too.

That's exactly why she shows up for MomQ moms the way she does, pulling back the layers, getting real about the joys and the struggles, and reminding the women in her group they are never walking this road alone.

"This journey is never perfect, but it is full of purpose, growth, and beauty."

We are so grateful for Sonia's wisdom, joy, and faith as she walks alongside moms at MomQ. 🤍
